Protection Dogs For Sale In Idaho
Nothing like your average German Shepherd, Rip stands out like a wolf among sheep. His jet-black coat and tall frame have heads on a swivel. And he’s got a temperament that’s to die for. If you’re looking for a capable Family Protection Dog, look no further. Rip is everything you want and need. We asked his Puppy Raiser and Trainer, Samantha, to answer a few basic questions so you can get to know him better. Sam has had Rip since he was nine weeks old, and, although we see him weekly, we wanted to share first-hand from her what she thinks of him. Here is what she said of Rip, our Black German Shepherd Dog For Sale:
He was insanely adorable and sweet! And this has not changed as he has matured!
Rip was such an easy puppy! He loved to follow me around, he was curious about everything, motivated and confident. My favorite thing about raising him was how motivated and playful he always is in training; he truly loves bonding / relationship building and that is not something I experience often with pet dogs that I work with.
Watch Rip as a puppy:
Fun. When I think about the past 10 months having Rip in my home, I just think about how much fun I’ve had with him. Being able to be a part of his firsts – first hike, first time swimming, first road trip – he is truly just happy all the time. So simply put, it’s been fun to be there to experience him growing up.
I love his personality, his athleticism and his loyalty.
I would love to see him go to a home with active / outdoorsy people who are truly looking for a protection dog companion. He is so easy to travel with, to hang out in the house with and go adventuring with. He is a go-anywhere, do-anything dog, and I think he would thrive as an active companion for a single person, a couple or a family. He is the ideal Protection Dog who is easy to live with and fun to be around.
I take Rip almost everywhere I go. He assists as my “demo dog” for private lessons, pack walks and client dog training in public. The most common comments I get when I’m in public with him are:
“Wow! He is stunning”
“Beautiful dog!”
“He is so well-behaved!”
“He’s so calm and sweet”
When he’s at work with me, my clients are constantly floored that he is so young and yet so obedient.
Right now, Rip and I have been focusing on all things Advanced Obedience. This includes speed into his change of positions like Sit-Down-Stand, Focus Heeling and Positions In-Motion. He always does fantastic in everything I ask of him, and he truly enjoys being a part of our training sessions. He loves to learn and is super motivated to work when it’s time to work!
