This compact, agile, and intelligent female is excelling in her training journey with us and is proving to possess the necessary traits to excel as a safe but serious Family Protection Dog. Which is no surprise, as she hails from Superior European Bloodlines. Imported from the Czech Republic, she comes from a long line of World Champions and Top Sport and Protection Dogs.

Meet Bear, a large and powerful, all-black male German Shepherd from East German (DDR) working lines. With a broad head, thick bone, and impressive size, Bear’s presence commands attention and turns heads everywhere he goes. Even as a young male, he shows the physical maturity and high trainability we expect from top-quality working lines.
Bear is calm, confident, and clear-headed. He has excellent nerves and a stable temperament, making him trustworthy and safe in any environment. Neutral and discriminating in public, Bear is easy to handle and has an excellent off-switch. He has good protection instinct, a biddable nature, and calm energy for a working German Shepherd. He is very loving and easy to live with while also being naturally protective and territorial of his home and property, a distinct characteristic of his old working bloodlines.
Bear is a dual-purpose service protection dog for VPD founder and owner, Amy Pishner. He is not for sale and is standing at stud for Valor Protection Dogs.
