Nothing happens by chance. Back in 2015, we trained a German Shepherd named Kiska for a client named Eric—a former Army veteran and Border Patrol officer. Eric had high expectations for both his dog and us as a trainer. We not only met those expectations—we exceeded them. 

Over the next decade, Eric followed our journey as we built our dog training business and launched our protection dog company. When Kiska grew old, Eric came back, placed an order for a custom protection dog, and said, “I want an Amy dog.” He trusted our judgement completely. His only request? A male, long-coated German Shepherd. “The rest is up to you. I trust you.” After a 5-month search, we found exactly what we were looking for. 

Meet Yukon—a stunning, long-haired black & red German Shepherd from elite European show lines. He is calm, confident, affectionate, and laid-back—but still has plenty of drive for training and play. He is incredibly smart, sweet, and eager to please—the perfect balance of brains, beauty, and ability. 

Yukon’s pedigree is world-class. His sire and grandsire are both VA1-rated (BSZS) and IGP3-titled—two of the top studs across Germany, Italy, and now the U.S. His dam (V-IGP1/KKL) comes from one of the most respected kennels in Europe, and her breeder is an international judge with decades of experience in structure, health, and temperament. 

Custom Protection Dog Yukon is everything we were searching for—long coat included. We will be raising and training him over the next year to become a dual-purpose service dog for Eric.
