In 2015, we trained a German Shepherd named Kiska for Eric, a former Army veteran and Border Patrol officer. His expectations were high, and we not only met them—we exceeded them. Over the next decade, Eric followed our journey as we built our dog training business and launched our protection dog company. When Kiska grew old, Eric returned to place a custom protection dog order. He told us, “I want an Amy dog.” His only request: a male, long-coated German Shepherd. “The rest is up to you. I trust you.” After a five-month search, we found the perfect match.

Meet Yukon—a stunning, long-haired black and red German Shepherd from elite European show lines. He is calm, confident, affectionate, and laid-back—but still has plenty of drive for training and play. He is incredibly smart, sweet, and eager to please—the perfect balance of brains, beauty, and ability. His pedigree is world-class, with VA1-rated (BSZS), IGP3-titled males on his sire line and a V-IGP1/KKL dam from one of Europe’s most respected kennels.

Custom Protection Dog Yukon is everything we were searching for—long coat included. We will be raising and training him over the next year to become a dual-purpose service dog for Eric.
